Beautiful Hospital.
First 2 hrs of parking garage is free - very convenient for visiting & patient pick up. My family member received quality care after a kidney transplant surgery here.
Parking first 2 hours free.
* To enter main building you will need to prove COVID-19 vaccination. Digital is acceptable.
Huge parking lot but can get filled. They're using a app now to pay for parking.
They apparently photograph your license plate as you go in you download the app attach credit card and your license plate and it automatically deducts payment on your way out.
Everything's very clean doctors are very good.
Gift shop & Cafeteria located in main building.
Cafeteria is not as huge as UCLA Ronald Reagan but very well stocked. Big breakfast for about $8 including xL oj.
Very nice facility, my nurses were super nice and made me feel very cared for during my D&E procedure. Gave me warm blankets and played peaceful music as I was put to sleep. Dr Pearlman Shapiro and her team are truly amazing and so thankful.
Courtney was amazing! As for the older lady in all black with braids & gold beads (Vengi was her name, we had to ask a nurse for her name since she refused to give us her name.) who felt the need to kick us off the 5th floor waiting for a sick old woman, shame on you. How embarrassing for you to not have proper communication with other staff, but then to not acknowledge you were wrong and not try to fix the situation. She also felt the need to make matters even worse by screaming at Courtney so loud we could hear! I am appalled, screaming at her as if she was her own child, in front of other workers and patients, never have we experienced this in a hospital. I hope proper repercussions are taken and this employee can be trained to properly do her job, without feeling like she can control Courtney and other family members. So humiliating for the ENTIRE hospital. Do better. Truly so embarrassing. I am so sorry you Courtney, you were amazing thank you for treating us kindly!
I wish 0 was a choice to rate this "hospital." My 85 yr old father was killed due to Keck Hospital. He had stage 1 bladder cancer with no pain. He was talked into having unnecessary surgery to remove his bladder and create a fake one using his lower intestine. We called the hospital to get his condition, but nobody called us for 2 FULL DAYS! He couldn't get out of bed, feed himself nor stay awake, yet Keck discharged him 4 days after his surgery!! 4 days! He developed a UTI in rehab but Dr. Daneshmund never saw him post surgery, only the physician assistant. MY FATHER DIED ONE MONTH AFTER SURGERY! He would still be alive had he not had this surgery.
I would give this place zero stars if I could! The lady at the front desk was mean. The security guard was very rude. Both of them argued with me and created a scene for no reason. I was already having a stressful day (my mother in law was dying), and these people made it a thousand times worse. They had absolutely no compassion. This hospital is trash.
Our whole experience at Keck was amazing! Dr. Kulkarni is a blessing to me and my family, he helped save my husband's life.
Six years ago they rescheduled my surgery three times by one month so I went elsewhere. Recently decided to give them another chance in a different speciality. Person in authorization quit calling six weeks ago. Spoke to office manager a week ago who still hasn’t gotten back to me!!
